Since Rebekah has entered daycare, she has pretty much had a cold. Suctioning her nose has become a part of a daily life...at least until she learns to blow it! :o) In addition to her cold, this past week she has started not eating much at day care. She was averaging about 2 6 oz bottles (she usually eats 3) Mon/Tue, and only ate 1 yesterday. She didn't eat from noon-7:00 pm when I got home and fed her. She was offered a bottle MULTIPLE times, but simply refused them.
So has she suddently decided she doesn't like the bottle anymore? Is her cold getting to her? Is she going through a growth spurt (commonly blamed for all odd-child behaviors it seems!)? We don't know! So she will be going to the doctor today. Her appointment isn't until 4:45 (currently 1:00), and I am on pins and needles until then.
Even though your child's health is out of your hands, it is amazing how guilty you feel as a mom. I wish I could waive my magic mommy wand and make her all better! They need to start selling those at Target!
