(Imported from the babababies website)

Here we go again...Rebekah was doing pretty good this past week. She ate well, and I didn't even have to snorkel her nose that much. However, on Saturday William picked her up and noticed she was warm. She was running her first ever fever (100.6). We called the doc, and he said to keep an eye on her.

We had my father's birthday celebration last night. We weren't sure we would be able to go at first, however she seemed to be feeling better. About an hour after we got there (6 hrs after the first dose of tylenol), she started to get warm again so we gave her another dose of tylenol. She seemed pretty happy the rest of the evening (and really did enjoy those singers!).

She had a fever again this morning at 5:00 (101.6) and again this afternoon at 3:30 (100.8). Rebekah will not be going to daycare tomorrow, as she has to be fever free w/out fever reducing meds for 24 hrs before she can go. We will most likely take her to the doc tomorrow if she still has a fever.

Other than the fever, she seems to be ok. She has had green poos (too much info? sorry!), and slept a lot. When she is awake, she is happy and playful for the most part. (If her fever is spiking, she gets wilty...a dose of tylenol and she is playful again.)

She doesn't seem to be tugging at her ears, although yesterday they did seem a bit waxy. I don't think she is teething, as her gums don't seem to be raw and she doesn't seem extra fussy or anything. I'm sure she will be alright soon. I am looking forward to when she gets her immune system built up and doesn't get sick as much! I'm sure it will do wonders for my sanity! HA!

In the developmental area, Rebekah has been working hard to sit up. She still can't quite balance herself, but if she is laying down and doesn't want to be, she will lift her shoulders up and crane her neck to be to see! It is absolutely cute. She also started blowing rasberries this week. Rebekah will tuck her bottom lip underneath her top lip and blow air. She can make the noise if her chin is wet, otherwise it just comes out as air! Today she accidentally did it with both lips, and looked pretty please with herself when she did. I was able to get the one-lip version on video tape amazingly enough!

William is working on building himself a new computer. As soon as it is done, he will be able to render videos faster. He has been waiting until that is complete, before creating anymore DVD's. At least he bought me some more tape so I can continue capturing moments in the mean time!
