Really really really really...

We were driving in the car, on our way somewhere.  (I actually don't recall where.)  Rebekah started talking and said..."Mom I have to tell you something.  I really really really really really really really really really really really really really [...reapeated for probably 5 minutes straight at least...]..."

While Rebekah was still saying "really",  Peter said "Mom, that's a lot!".

William and I debated quietly whether she would actually remember what she was going to say.

And we all waited patiently for her to finish.

"...really really really really really really really want to go to Texas."

William and I looked surprised at each other.  William said "I didn't see that one coming!"  I inquired "And what is in Texas that you want to see?"

Rebekah replied "It is my dream to see a REAL cowgirl and cowboy!  Can we go please?"

William and I just giggled.

I think this is a new stage for her.  She seems to think the more really's or super-duper's she puts in a sentence indicates larger need/want for said subject.  I find it adorable.  We debated that something was "super duper" but NOT "super duper uper super" the other day.  :-P  Rebekah also has been asking to go random places.  She has asked within the last 6 months to go to Disney (ok, who can blame her there?), Georgia (to visit her imaginary friend named Amy), Arizona (to see palm trees) and now Texas...to see cowboys and cowgirls.

I love it when she is behaving and chatting.  Keyword is behaving - because she also has been testing waters as to what she can say without getting into trouble.

A few weeks ago, on a snow day, she and Peter were sitting at the table eating lunch having normal lunch-type conversation.  My ears perked up when I heard her tell Peter that she dislikes Justin Bieber because he wears stinky socks.  At least I know that personal hygiene is important to her.
